Psychosexual Evaluations

The "Abel Assessment for Sexual Interest" is a psychological tool used to evaluate the sexual interests of adult sex offenders, particularly assessing their attraction to specific demographics like children, by measuring their visual reaction time to various images while also collecting self-reported information about their sexual behaviors and preferences through a questionnaire; essentially, it aims to identify potential deviant sexual interests that could indicate a risk of re-offending.

The primary focus is on identifying potential deviant sexual interests, including attraction to children, sexual violence against adults (both male and female), and sadistic tendencies.
